Expedition members have left the base camp.

The summit attemp failed due to the bad weather condition and some health problems of Jarek Woćko. Now all the expedition's members are in the base camp.

Tonight Jarek Woćko and Daniel Cieszyński will try to get to the summit of Nanda Devi East.

Today Jarek Woćko, Daniel Cieszyński i Marcin Miotk set up the Camp II at the height of 6500 m.

Jarek Woćko i Daniel Cieszyński finished securing three pinnacles with ropes. Marcin Miotk, Grzegorz Mróz and Jan Lenczowski are on the ridge now, trying to set the Camp II at the height of 6500 m.

Marcin Miotk and Grzegorz Mroz arrived at the Base Camp. Now all the ten members of the expedition are at Nanda Devi East.

The second week of the activity on Nanda Devi East (7,434m) starts. Yesterday 0.5m of snow fell in the base camp.

Jarek Woćko, Daniel Cieszyński and Narcyz Sadłon reached the Longstaff pass.

Part of the equipment was carried up to 5,500m.

 

Yesterday after setting up the advanced base camp at 5,000 m, expedition members took a decision to hike to the Longstaff pass

Yesterday expedition members set up a base camp at 4,300 m and advanced base at 5,000 m. All expedition members are fine.

The expedition of more then 50 men is travelling through the mountain valleys. First stage ended in Lilam. Alpinists walk about 15 km every day. They should arrive at the Base Camp on the 3rd of May.

After spending a few days in Delhi, the expedition finally departed towards Himalaya Mountains and got to Munsyiari.

For the last few days the members of the expedition were in Delhi, and their primary activity was fighting with Indian bureaucracy.
